Summary Terms and Conditions:

GB, 18+. 14th March 2024 to 3rd April 2024. No purchase necessary. To enter the online promotion, visit www.sparspinwin.co.uk. This will also give you an entry to the grand prize draw with a chance to win the grand prize.

There are £30,000 worth of spot prizes, to be won during the total promotion period; and a grand prize to be won (£10,000 cash prize). Participating stores only for redemption of spot prize vouchers. Max 2 entries per phone per day for the spot prize competition, subject to watching a video at www.sparspinwin.co.uk from one of our sponsoring brand partners to receiving the second entry. Winning spot prize vouchers valid for 7 days. Non-issued vouchers for spot-prizes will be re-added to the total prize pot. Expired vouchers will be re-added to the pot until the campaign ends. No cash alternatives.

Full Terms and Conditions:

1. The promotor of the promotions described within these terms is A.F. Blakemore and Son Ltd, Longacres Industrial Estate, Rose Hill, Willenhall, West Midlands, WV13 2JP (the “Promotor”).
2. All entry instructions form part of these terms & conditions of entry (the “Terms & Conditions”). By entering each spot prize promotion online via the prize draw website at www.sparspinwin.co.uk (the “Online Prize Promotion”), and/or the grand prize draw promotion (the “Grand Prize Promotion”) (together the “Promotions”) you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions of entry.
3. Entry into any or all of the Promotions is only open to residents of Great Britain (and is not open to residents of Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands) aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter and anyone professionally associated with any of the Promotions.

Online Prize Promotion

1. The Online Prize Promotion will be live, and entries will be accepted between 14th March 2024 and 3rd of April (the “Online Prize Promotion Period”). Entries received before or after the end of the Online Prize Promotion Period will not be included in the Online Prize Promotion
2. To enter the Online Prize Promotion, visit www.sparspinwin.co.uk (the “Website”) and have a go at spinning the digital wheel displayed, following the instructions provided on the Website. Each valid entry into the Online Prize Promotion will also give one free entry into the Grand Prize Promotion.
3. You will be given the chance to get another attempt at spinning the digital wheel up to once per day by watching a video at www.sparspinwin.co.uk from one of our sponsoring brand partners. These additional attempts will not entitle you to an additional entry into the grand prize draw and are for a chance to win a spot prize online.
4. There are £30,000 worth of spot prizes available to win throughout the Online Prize Promotion Period (each being an “Online Prize”), each consisting of one of the following: Free 270ml tub of Elmnea, Free 2 Litre bottle of Irn Bru, Free 54g bag of Quavers £1.25 PMP, Free 41.5g Kit Kat 4 finger, Free Malteser Bunny, Free 8 pack of Richmond Thick Sausages, £2 off a £10 spend at SPAR and £5 off a £20 spend at SPAR.
5. For the shop vouchers, this excludes fuel, cigarettes & tobacco related products, Paypoint, Lottery and services. This voucher can only be used at a participating SPAR store as part payment. This voucher cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other voucher. This offer is subject to availability.
6. Online Prizes will be allocated via a probability engine provided by Paypoint. The probability of winning a prize will be based on a comparison of the number of entries versus the number of prizes available.

Redeeming your Online Prize for your preferred choice of the available products will be subject to availability in store. Online Prize vouchers are only redeemable at participating stores – full details of participating stores can be found at https://www.sparspinwin.co.uk/stores.aspx

Grand Prize Promotion

9. As part of the Grand Prize Promotion, there will be 1 grand prize (the “Grand Prize”) to be won.
10. The Grand Prize Promotion will be live and entries will be accepted between 00.00 on 14th March 2024 to 23.59 BST 3rd April 2024 (the “Grand Prize Promotion Period”). Entries received outside of the Grand Prize Promotion Period will not be included. In addition, entries received after the individual promotion periods for each Grand Prize draw (listed below) will not be included in the Grand Prize Promotion.
11. In order to enter the Grand Prize draw you will be asked (on the Website for Online Prize Promotion entry) to verify your age, mobile telephone number and your postcode to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for the Grand Prize Promotions. By providing these initial details, you will receive one free entry into the Grand Prize Promotion.
12. The Grand Prize available to win is 1x £10,000 cash sum, to be paid to the winner of this prize via bank transfer.
13. The draw for the Grand Prize shall take place on Monday 8th April 2024 and winners will be notified no later than Friday 12th April 2024. Provided we can verify all details with the winner, the winner will receive their prize no later than Wednesday 31st of May 2024.
14. Entry into the Grand Prize draws is automatic or when a game is played and the various in game criteria are satisfied, depending on the timing of your entry to the Grand Prize Promotion.
15. Grand Prize will be allocated via a probability engine provided by Stormnet Media. The probability of winning the Grand Prize will be based on a comparison of the number of entries during the promotion period in question versus the number of prizes available during the promotion period in question for the Grand Prize draw.
16. If you are lucky enough to win a Grand Prize, we will contact you via phone call to arrange delivery of your Grand Prize.

General Terms and Conditions

18. The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of the Promotions is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. The Promoter reserves the right to replace any of the Online Prizes or Grand Prize with an alternative Online Prize or Grand Prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
19. Winners will be notified as follows:
• a. Online Prizes – By SMS message and they will be sent a digital voucher via text with a link to a page showing a picture of the prize won, a description and a unique single-use barcode (voucher) to be used in store at the epay, PayPoint or Payzone terminal. Successful entrants in the Online Prize Promotion can claim their Online Prize by selecting their choice of Spot Prize from their local participating SPAR store and taking it to the till to redeem. If a winner does not follow the prize claim instructions on the voucher and claim their Online Prize within 7 working days of receiving the voucher, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and return the Online Prize to the prize pool, which may be won by another entrant during the Online Prize Promotion Period.
• b. Grand Prize – By telephone call, where they will be given the details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not follow the prize claim instructions given or fails to answer when being notified about their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and return the Grand Prize to the prize pool, where the draw will be re-run with all other eligible entrants and a replacement winner selected.

20. Neither the Online Prizes, nor the Grand Prize are transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for any other form of compensation.
21. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend any of the Promotions where it becomes necessary to do so.
22. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason.
23. The Promoter is not responsible in the event that a winner fails to receive their prize as a result of having provided inaccurate or incorrect contact details or failing to claim their prize in time.
24. The Promoter will request that the winners participate in publicity arising from any of the Promotions. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
25. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
26. As far as permitted by law, the Promoter together with any associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability caused by the Promoter’s negligence. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
27. An entry must be made directly by an individual acting in their personal capacity. Bulk entries into any of the Promotions from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means together with entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by trying to increase their entries into any of the Promotions in a way that is not consistent with the rules of any of the Promotions, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified, and any prize awarded will be void.
28. The Promoter may refuse to award a prize in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach, or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of its value if the Online Prize or Grand Prize has been awarded.
29. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
30. Any and all personal data provided by you in connection with any of the Promotions will be used solely by the Promoter (or its appointed agents) to: (i) assist with running the Promotions; and/or (ii) conduct analytics to improve the Promoter’s promotions, products or services. The Promoter (or its appointed agents) will not contact you for reasons other than the Promotions unless you have provided your express consent. No personal data provided by you in connection with any of the Promotions will be shared with any sponsoring brand partners. All personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at https://www.sparspinwin.co.uk/privacy-policy.
31. Except where a winner has requested that their details are not shared, the winners' details (abbreviated names only) will be available for a period of 30 days from the end of the Grand Prize Promotion Period by emailing [email protected] using “SPAR Winners’ List” in the subject line. The Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.
32. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
